The course & your visit
Tea Tree Gully: foothills golf and Dimples
Tea Tree Gully Golf Club has sat at the foot of the Adelaide Hills since 1932 — the club puts itself 24 kilometres from the city centre, at Fairview Park. The course is an 18-hole par 71 with couch fairways and bent greens. It is a private members’ club where visitors play as guests, but the clubhouse restaurant keeps public hours, so non-golfers have their own reason to drive up Hamilton Road.

The course
The venue’s description stays at course level: a picturesque foothills setting, couch grass fairways and bent greens, with a course tour page that lists the eighteen holes without narrating them. There is no published hole-by-hole playing advice to draw on, so the guide stays honest about that — the character is foothills parkland golf at a members’ club, and the detail waits for the first tee.

Playing as a guest
As a private club, Tea Tree Gully takes members and their invited guests, with a visitor rate for GolfLink handicappers where bookings are essential. Member-guest options cover nine holes and juniors under 21. Two-seater carts, battery walk-behind buggies and push buggies are available to hire through the Golf Shop on 08 8251 9200, and two free bitumen car parks serve the site.
Practice is well covered: a 200-metre driving range with eight bays, a large putting green, three practice nets and a dedicated short-game area. Dress-code and course-care policies are published on the site and worth reading before a first visit.

The club-run pro shop
The pro shop is run by the club itself, which makes the point that every purchase supports facilities, course improvements and member services. It stocks leading equipment and apparel brands with PGA professionals on hand for fitting advice, lessons are bookable online, and the shop keeps daily opening hours across the week.

Dimples, open to everyone
Dimples restaurant and function centre overlooks the course toward the Adelaide Hills and has won the ABIA Club Reception award twice, in 2020 and 2023. The restaurant and bar open to the public Tuesday to Friday for lunch with dinner service in daylight saving; Saturdays are reserved for private functions, and outside public hours the clubhouse bar serves members and their guests. Weddings use an outdoor ceremony setting among the trees, with corporate and celebration functions through the week.
