The course & your visit
Valley View: the hill in the reserve
Valley View is an 18-hole par three in Thomas Turner Reserve on Grand Junction Road, run by Belgravia Leisure for the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. The course wraps around a gently sloping hill, with holes from 60 to 146 metres, and the council’s verdict is plain: shorter rounds, less walking, fewer strokes, ideal for beginners, children and older golfers. There is no venue-run website — both historic domains are dead — so this guide is built from the council’s and operator’s own published pages.

Walk-up golf, twilight and juniors
The format is relaxed: no bookings are needed for small groups, tee times are relaxed, and the course runs internal competitions alongside twilight rounds. The operator’s own account describes accessible, challenging holes in a safe venue for all abilities and ages — regulars in their write-ups measure friendships in hundreds of rounds here.
Juniors are part of the furniture: Belgravia’s October 2022 report describes MyGolf junior programs running in school terms with holiday par-three competitions at Valley View and sister course Glanville. For enquiries the council lists 0448 637 918.

The reserve around it
Thomas Turner Reserve supplies the rest of the day out: a kiosk cafe, free parking, toilets, playground, barbecues and picnic tables, with public transport access. One caution for returning visitors: the Valley View driving range is no longer in operation, with a new community recreation space planned for the reserve’s western side — don’t arrive expecting to warm up on the range.
