The course & your visit
Wirrina Cove: golf above the marina
Wirrina Cove Golf Course sits inside the New Terry resort at 172 Paradise Drive, looking over the local marina among the Fleurieu wildlife. The eighteen plays year-round for all skill levels with marina views throughout, and the venue publishes playing notes for every hole. Golf memberships, a golf shop, mini golf, and the Heysens restaurant, cafe and bar make this a resort round rather than a club day out.

The eighteen, as the guide calls them
The published notes pick their landmarks. The fifth is a long uphill dogleg with water right and creek left, where even a good drive leaves a long iron or wood and a bogey counts as worthy. The twelfth is rated the easiest — 299 metres — but its green falls away behind onto a steep embankment. The fifteenth demands a 100-metre-plus water carry to a wide flat green fronted by a catching bunker.
The finish runs through a 180-metre-plus par-three seventeenth into the prevailing wind, where the guide calls a bogey a par for most golfers, to a short par-four eighteenth where a deceptive short bunker makes the hole look closer than it is. Prevailing winds, uphill long irons and green-guarding bunkers recur throughout.

Membership and the pro shop
Membership comes in 7, 6 and 5-day tiers plus a Metro category for golfers living beyond 60 kilometres and junior brackets — with reciprocal rounds at Links Lady Bay in Normanville, pool and gym access, family mini-golf, shop and bar discounts and bonus accommodation among the benefits. Competitions are open to members and the public, handicaps are hosted with affiliation fees, and interclub matches run through the season.
The golf shop keeps essentials rather than a full retail range: accessories, apparel, advice, club hire and motorised carts, with a chipping and putting green, practice nets and locker rooms. Corporate days with lunch or dinner run through the events team on 08 8598 2415, and the fee schedule covers weekday, weekend, junior and playing-rights-holder rounds plus mini golf.

Breakfast and lunch run Wednesday to Sunday with dinner Friday and Saturday and takeaway available. The pro shop keeps 7:30am to 4pm; general enquiries on (08) 8598 2400.
